On January 26, 2018, the national standard review meeting for low-temperature valves drafted by Nafuxi (Shanghai) Valve Technology Co., Ltd. was held at the Oriental Oasis Hotel in Shanghai. 23 representatives, including the Director, Deputy Director, Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General, and specially invited experts of the National Valve Standardization Committee, attended the meeting. On January 25, 2018, a sudden snowfall disrupted the order of transportation operations, causing difficulties for the attending representatives to travel. However, at 9am on the 26th, Secretary General Huang Mingya announced the start of the meeting, and all representatives were present on time, reflecting the high importance that the attendees attached to the meeting.

Yang Heng, Deputy Director of the National Valve Standards Committee, presided over the national standard review meeting on "Technical Conditions for Low Temperature Valves". The representatives at the meeting carefully reviewed the design, manufacture, test and other key contents of cryogenic valves, and put forward a lot of valuable suggestions to make the standard meet the requirements of progressiveness, practicality and scientificity. As one of the important product standards for valves, the technical conditions for low-temperature valves play an important role in guiding the development of low-temperature valves, ensuring the correct use of low-temperature valves, and ensuring the safe operation of low-temperature engineering. During the meeting, Zhu Shaoyuan, Chief Engineer of the Valve Institute of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, conducted a deep analysis of the freezing mechanism of low-temperature valve packing. Hu Jun, a senior engineer, provided a detailed introduction to the preparation work for drafting the IS0 valve standard. Xu Qiang, Director of the National Valve Standardization Committee, highly praised the achievements of this session of the Standardization Committee and fully affirmed the efforts made in actively striving to revise the two international standards of IS0.
